Awareness and Anger: When we “wake up”

One of the main issues in the mental illness model is that individuals anger is a symptom of a brain disease/disorder.

One of the most freeing and empowering truths is when we realize that our anger is often justified and how to express it respectfully to meet our own needs.

Today at KIP Central on Blog Talk Radio, Advocate/Activist Dennis Dodson and I share some of the life lessons we’ve learned since leaving the often unhelpful “help” found in the “mental health system”.
